Simon Maddrell was the organisation's former chairman
The Isle of Man Woodland Trust has paid tribute to its founding member and former chairman Simon Maddrell.
In a post on social media the organisation says he passed away on Thursday (10 September) morning, following a short illness.
Simon is described by the trust as a 'true gentleman and his kindness, sensitivity and generosity of spirit will never be forgotten.'
