The app developers recently reported a security breach
The government has given reassurance that Isle of Man residents and users of Ronaldsway airport are not at risk, after the app the airport uses to collect car parking payments was hacked.
RingGo - which is owned by the Easy Park Group - is Europe's largest parking operator but was hit by a cyber-attack with an estimated 950 users data being stolen.
The Department of Infrastructure says it's been assured by the organisation that Isle of Man data isn't in danger as the 'security incident did not involve the software our system relies on'.
