Says it has a 'strong working relationship' with Tesco
Isle of Man Meats says it 'looks forward to continuing to work with Tesco' following the sale of Shoprite's nine stores to the retail giant.
Questions have been raised around the impact the sale will have on local producers.
But the UK supermarket does already stock products from Isle of Man Meats and the Isle of Man Creamery.
In a statement released to Manx Radio, the company says it has a 'strong working relationship with both Tesco and Shoprite', and following the announcement it 'looks forward to continuing to work with Tesco to provide an offering of Manx Meat into the future'.
