Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose receives mixed response
Nandor Fodor and the Talking Mongoose has opened in cinemas in America to mixed reviews.
Critics are describing it as 'odd', 'charming' and 'curious' with renowned movie rating website Rotten Tomatoes awarding it two and a half stars out of five.
The film is based in the Isle of Man and stars Simon Pegg with the story based on the legend of Gef the Talking Mongoose.
It went on general release in the USA last Friday - British viewers will be able to watch it when it's broadcast on Amazon Prime later this year.
