Eight MHKs voted against the Budget in Tynwald this week
An MHK says the Island's taxation structure is viewed as a 'static, unchangeable thing' rather than something which could be significantly overhauled.
Joney Faragher was one of eight MHKs to vote against the Treasury's financial plan for the upcoming year in Tynwald last month.
She was critical of several areas of the Pink Book including what she views as the 'funding gap' for healthcare services.
