Report shows Isle of Man companies paid €150m last year
Moves could be underway in Ireland to change funding for private asylum accommodation providers after it was revealed a third have ties to offshore financial centres.
The findings, made by digital news outlet Extra.ie, show a number of companies in the Isle of Man were paid almost a combined total of €150 million last year.
The money is allocated to provide shelter for those entering the country seeking refuge or international protection.
