Fee currently stands at £170
An MHK believes some Islanders on lower incomes may be 'priced out' of making planning appeals.
Member for Arbory, Castletown and Malew Jason Moorhouse has submitted Tynwald questions on the matter to the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot.
He wants to know how the £170 pound figure was arrived at as the planning appeal fee, how many have been lodged over the last nine years, and how successful they've been.
