Creameries downplay Brit milk concerns
A feared British dairy shortage won't hit Manx customers, according to Isle of Man Creameries.
Reports suggest UK residents will see a scarcity of butter and cream on the table this Christmas, following comments made by manufacturer Arla.
The company's boss, Peder Turborgh, says farmers are supplying an 'insufficient' amount of raw milk for use in dairy products.
His comments have been slammed by the UK National Farmers Union as 'scaremongering'.
