Fortnight of mandatory self-isolation to be introduced
It's thought the Isle of Man will be exempt when the UK Government introduces a fortnight of mandatory quarantine for travellers arriving there.
Sky News is reporting that passengers entering the UK will soon have to provide an address where they will self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival, in a policy similar to that seen on Manx shores before the borders were closed.
Airlines UK, the trade body for registered airlines there, says passengers from some jurisdictions will be exempt - including Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man.
The article highlights that similar moves have already been made in countries elsewhere including Australia, New Zealand and Singapore.
