
Keys to revisit former home
150 years of democracy in the Isle of Man will be marked later this month.
A special afternoon sitting of the House of Keys will be held in the old House of Keys in Castletown on 14 March - if members approve the proposal next week.
The introduction of public elections in 1867 were considered major steps in political democracy becoming a reality for Manx people.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle says it would be a fitting nod to tradition.
