Praise for Island approach to conservation
A visiting bee expert claims other nations could 'take lessons' from the Island's approach to wildlife conservation.
Importing bees is prohibited under Manx regulations - and last year the native population was declared free of the deadly mite Varroa.
Clive de Bruyn is one of 150 delegates visiting for this week's Bee Improvement and Bee Breeders Conference (BIBBA) at the Villa Marina.
