Residents warned to be vigilant
The Isle of Man has experienced a recent spike in sophisticated scam attacks.
That warning comes from Graeme Sullivan, President of the Isle of Man Bankers’ Association.
He says it is particularly concerning that these attacks have specifically targeted the Isle of Man and other Crown Dependencies.
Mr Sullivan is urging the public to remain vigilant, as scams can take many different forms:
Discussions ongoing over meningitis B vaccine rollout
Health minister apologises for confusion over ambulance centre funding
Port Erin Commissioners to open recruitment for new clerk 'shortly'
Island's credit rating unchanged
