A Bill that strengthens the Island's beneficial ownership framework and supports its commitment to tackling financial crime has completed its passage through the legislature.
The Verification of Entity Registration Bill 2026 will now go for Royal Assent.
The aim of the legislation is to help ensure ownership information held across the Island's registers is accurate, reliable and up to date.
The intention is to bring forward the necessary regulations early in the next administration.
