Some of the most innovative firms in America's Silicon Valley have heard what the Isle of Man can offer clean-tech companies seeking a foothold in Europe.
A Manx delegation has just returned from a visit to hi-tech centres of excellence on the east and west coasts of America, including M.I.T - the Massachusetts Institute of Technology - recently named the world's top university.
Local companies joined officers from the Department of Economic Development on the road show, to spread the word about facilities and support available in the Isle of Man for clean-tech enterprises.
The delegation was led by member for DED Laurence Skelly.
