Prospect's new general secretary says as the Manx government looks to privatise some services, it should learn from the mistakes of its United Kingdom counterpart.
Mike Clancy was on the Island yesterday to meet with representatives and members of the union.
Their concerns included pay constraints and freezes, and job security as government looks to cut its provision of services.
Mr Clancy says certain principles should be adhered to, if the Manx government begins to outsource:
Some pubs to stay open for early-hours England match
Tynwald to revisit rates bill after the election
Douglas Council to install temporary play area in Marine Gardens
