
Inflation has risen slightly on the Island.
It went up to 2.8% at the end of last month from a figure of 2.7% at the end of May as measured by the Retail Prices Index (RPI)
Excluding housing costs, the annual rate of inflation shown by the RPI has decreased in June and is now 2.4%, down from May’s figure of 2.8%.
The figure shown by the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) increased to 1.8% for June from 1.6% in May 2014.
