Events cancelled and parents take own action
Isle of Man Government is in a position to close schools and ban large gatherings following its move to the delay phase to try and combat coronavirus.
However, Health Minister David Ashford says we are not in a position yet where these measures will be introduced.
Some Island events are being cancelled as a precaution despite official advice and Manx Radio has been contacted by a few parents who have decided to keep their children off school.
Health Minister David Ashford says he can't condone such action:-
Manx matchmaker supporting people 'frustrated' with online dating
Toilet changes at QEII 'well received'
Date confirmed for funeral of Sam Naughton
Buddy has first of two 'much-needed' surgeries
