From today, Isle of Man residents will be able to see a giant model of Mars at Cathedral Isle of Man in Peel.

Created by Luke Jerram, it will be on display until 2 March.

Last year, the display of the moon attracted 18,000 visitors to the west of the Island.

Lay Minister, Rosemary Clarke says they are looking forward to a series of events and welcoming people:

It's open to the public from 9am until 6.30pm today.
