Island police have joined in a minute's silence this morning, in PC Andrew Harper's memory.
The newlywed 28-year-old from Berkshire was killed last week after responding to reports of a burglary.
Thames Valley Police is leading the commemoration, with many forces joining from around the UK.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is also flying its flags at half-mast for the day.
