Third UNESCO Biosphere awards held
Organisations which are contributing to a more sustainable future have been rewarded for their efforts.
The third UNESCO Biosphere Isle of Man Awards have celebrated those contributing to sustainable development, conservation and education.
Awards were organised in line with the five Es – economy, education, energy, enjoyment and engagement and environment.

The Children’s Centre secured the energy award after converting its site to solar power – the head of the charity is Joff Whitten:
Other winners on the day were the Manx Wildlife Trust, Lovely Greens and PlasticBusters.
