DEXU minister visits for talks with CM
The Isle of Man's interests will not be treated as an 'afterthought' during the UK government's Brexit negotiations.
So says Robin Walker, parliamentary under secretary of state at the UK's Department for Exiting the European Union.
He was speaking today (3 Aug) at a news conference held in Douglas with the Chief Minister Howard Quayle.
Mr Walker's already held talks with the Council of Ministers about specific Manx interests, including future trade and market access post-Brexit.
He told Manx Radio the Island won't be forgotten during the negotiations:
