Controlled growth needed
The Island IS attracting more people from around the globe to work here - but still isn't on the map.
That's the view of Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson.
Speaking on Sunday Opinion today, Dr Allinson said the Island would benefit from carefully controlled population growth, though those coming here must be paid enough to be able to live off their wage.
And whilst the population is diversifying,he believes the Isle of Man still doesn't have a big enough profile on the global stage.
