Cost of filling the car is cheapest on average in British Isles
The Isle of Man has the cheapest diesel in the British Isles.
A survey conducted by the confused.com fuel index shows motorists in the Island pay an average of £146.5p per litre.
This is 3p cheaper than Belfast and 4p less than Liverpool which are the next two lowest places on the list.
The dearest is £159.3p in Shetland with East Central London the most expensive in England charging an average of 158.6p per litre.
However, unleaded prices in the Isle of Man are around 5p dearer than the cheapest which is found in Northern Ireland.
