Almost three quarters own their property
Home ownership in England is an historic low - but on the Island the figure remains considerably higher.
A report by the UK's Resolution Foundation found that just 64% of households own their home in 2016, down 7% on a decade ago.
But results from the Manx government's Social Attitudes Survey, made public this week, find that the rate here is 73.5%.
The survey, carried out by think tank Island Global Research, was answered by a sample of over 2,100 residents aged between 15 and 91; and measures views on issues ranging from public health to Manx identity.
