Opening ceremony takes place this evening
The opening ceremony for the 2019 NatWest Island Games takes place in Gibraltar this evening.
It starts at 7pm at the Europa Point Sports Complex.
The Isle of Man team is competing in 13 of the 14 sports on offer - the one being missed out is beach volleyball.
Football, golf and gymnastics are not included in the programme due to a lack of facilities. There's also no archery competition.
At the last event held in Gotland in 2017, the Manx team topped the medal table with a total of 101 medal collected of which 39 were gold.
