An advocate for ending the 'war on drugs' says the Island could lead the way in reforming the law.
Jane Slater heads up the UK based pressure group TRANSFORM, and will give a presentation at the Positive Action Group's next meeting in Douglas on Monday (24th).
She claims the continued prohibition of illicit substances keeps the market under criminal control - and makes it harder to reduce harm for those who take them.
That meeting takes place at 7.30pm at the Manx Legion Club, Douglas.
