Island businesses invited to take part in survey

It's done twice a year for economic monitoring

Island businesses are being invited to take part in a survey which government says helps provide essential information for economic monitoring.

The Isle of Man Business Environment and Conditions survey, formerly known as the Business Confidence Survey, is done twice a year, taking in the views of local employers to gauge current business activity, optimism and investment for all sectors.

Letters are sent to selected firms asking them to fill out the questionnaire, which should take around 40 minutes.

The last report highlighted recruitment difficulties, rising costs, and infrastructure concerns  but concluded most companies still recommend the Island as a place to do business
