Fibre due to be laid in Baldrine, Colby and Douglas in the next six months
Government is accelerating its national broadband plan from five to four years, with fibre due to be laid in Baldrine, Colby and Douglas in the next six months.
It's part of the treasury minister's economic recovery programme to protect jobs and secure investment following the impact of the current pandemic.
Manx Telecom received £10 million this year to deliver the network across the Island.
Work is currently underway in Glen Auldyn, Sulby, Derbyhaven and Ballakilpheric, with Gansey already online.
