Air and sea travel disruption
The Island has been battered by severe gales this morning.
The Ben-my-Chree sailing and afternoon return from Heysham were cancelled but this evening's crossing at 7.45pm is expected to leave Douglas on time.
There have been issues with flights at Ronaldsway Airport.
There are a number of cancellations or delays.
Trees have been blown down on roads.
The Switchback is blocked near to Knocksharry and one side of the road is blocked on the Poortown Road near to the quarry.
And the Northern Civic Amenity Site at Balladoole is closed today.
