Is teachers' pay dispute at stalemate?

Union and DESC due to meet again this week

The education department and an Island teaching union seem to be at a stalemate as a dispute over pay and working conditions continues to escalate.

Members of the NASUWT are only carrying out their teaching duties - meaning some schools have told year groups to study from home because they don't have the staff to safely monitor break times.

They've also voted in favour of strike action if a resolution can't be found.
