
The Martello Players from Dublin have won this year's Easter festival of Plays at the Gaiety.
They were awarded the Fred Cubbon trophy for their performance of "Bog of Cats" by Marina Carr.
The Players,who are festival regulars, swept the board with a total of eight awards including best female performer, best performer under the age of 21, the Michael Lees award for drama, best director and best design and construction.
They also won the audience appreciation award.
Laura Piggatt won the young actor of Mann award and will now attend West End school of drama in London
The awards were presented by Jean Webb, President of local society the Service Players.
