Ten years after entry in network of biosphere reserves
The Island's next Biosphere accreditation will be due in 2026.
This was confirmed in the House of Keys this morning by Environment, Food and Agriculture Minister Geoffrey Boot.
In answering a question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge, Mr Boot said the Island would be expected to provide a re-application with an update on the nomination form on the 10th anniversary of the Island's entry into the world network of biosphere reserves.
