Stars Group issues assurances to remaining staff
The Stars Group says 'disruptions in key markets' are the reason for a raft of redundancies at its Isle of Man office.
The company does however insist the Island will remain a 'critical operational hub'.
Staff were informed yesterday that a number of them would be let go - although it hasn't yet been publicly stated how many will be affected.
The group says it needs to save money after facing what it calls "many headwinds over the last year".
Stars Group says it's a process it's had to go through in the past.
Assurances have been given to both customers and remaining staff that the changes will have "little foreseeable impact on operations."
