The Isle of Man’s Lieutenant Governor, has become the Patron of Peel’s RNLI station.
Marking the patronage, Sir John Lorimer and his wife Lady Philippa were taken aboard the charity’s newest and most advanced lifeboat in the fleet - worth £2.2million - to see a training session in action.
Lifeboat Operations Manager Allen Corlett says they’re looking forward to working with their new Patron ahead of the RNLI’s 200th Anniversary in years to come.
