Onchan MHK says retail sector under threat
Does the Island need an internet purchase tax to help protect Manx shops and raise cash for government?
That’s one of the ideas put forward by Onchan MHK Peter Karran during yesterday’s budget debate in Tynwald.
He says the Island’s retail sector is under threat and government needs to act now to protect it.
Mr Karran says the idea is in its infancy – and isn’t LibVan party policy.
