Raft of appointments due this week
International affairs are of vital importance to the Manx government - the words of Policy and Reform Minister Chris Thomas.
He believes the Island is beginning to 'take it's place' in the international community following the UNESCO biosphere reserve designation.
However, the future of the 'International Development Committee' remains unclear, with a new chairman yet to be proposed, despite a raft of appointments to other government bodies due to be announced next week.
Mr Thomas says, though not an immediate priority for the new government, aid and development commitments will play a role:
Main road between Peel and Douglas to shut for tree felling
'Targeted and intelligence led approach' to protect Island's borders during Irish sailings
Airport Director role advertised with top salary of £120,000
