12 individuals and 19 businesses peanalised
Fines totalling more than £33,000 have been handed down to 12 individuals, and 19 businesses, for a range of Income Tax and National Insurance related offences.
The matters were dealt with at Douglas Magistrates Court.
The bulk of the fines - adding up to more than £25,000 - were issued to 15 corporates for failing to pay Income Tax instalment payments an/or Class 1 National Insurance contributions by the due date.
