Laxey residents were long-time friends
The inquests of four Laxey residents killed in a car crash will reopen this morning (Thursday).
Long-term friends and neighbours Derek Brown, his wife Joyce, Kath Garrett and Marie Gordon, who were all in their 80s, died in the accident last July.
The vehicle crashed into a bus stop near the Fairy Cottage filling station.
Mr Brown was the former chief messenger of Tynwald.
The hearing, before coroner John Needham, will reconvene at 10 o’clock (10am) at Douglas Courthouse.
