James Cowton died while competing at last year's Southern 100
An inquest into the death of a road racer at last year's Southern 100 will resume this morning.
James Cowton died following a crash at Stadium Bends on the Billown Course while competing in the 600cc Challenge Race on 12 July last year.
At the opening into the inquest, the court heard the 26-year-old died as a result of multiple injuries.
The hearing gets underway at Douglas courthouse at 10am.
