Douglas, Ramsey and Castletown likely to be affected at high tide
A weather warning for inner harbour flooding has been upgraded to amber ahead of this evening's high tide.
The Tongue in Douglas, Tesco car park, Ramsey harbour and Castletown are among the areas expected to be affected around high water, which is at 10.40pm.
The warning from Ronaldsway Met Office also predicts coastal overtopping, and comes into force from 8.30pm until 1am tomorrow.
Forecasters say large waves will bring a significant amount of sea water and debris onto coastal roads, particularly in the south, Douglas, Laxey and Ramsey.
