
Government has backed a new initiative aiming to make the Island greener and self-sufficient.
The EcoVannin project sees the Department of Economic Development and the Department of Environment, Food and Agriculture team up with non-government organisations to tackle a number of environmental issues.
Changes to eight areas including business, energy and transport will be explored in the hope of making the Island a sustainable community.
