Two new points unveiled
Increasing demand for electric vehicles means the Island's charging network has to keep expanding, according to a Manx Utilties spokesperson.
Two new charging points have been unveiled by the board in the last month at Port St Mary and Peel, with plans for more in Douglas and rural areas.
Funding for the newly installed points has been provided by the Department of Environment Food and Agriculture as it looks to progress its environmental policies.
Manx Utilties' Andy Cowie says work is now underway on developing smarter technology for the points, so consumption and usage can be monitored.
