Regular updates help maintain public trust and manage crises effectively, says IC
The Information Commissioner is warning businesses to plan how they’ll communicate if they fall victim to a cyber attack.
Alexandra Delaney-Bhattacharya says providing updates "little and often" is usually the most effective approach.
She adds that her office will examine how organisations manage public communication during incidents.
