Installation highlights increased chance of walkers and cyclists crossing road
An informal crossing is warning of the increased chance of walkers and cyclists crossing the road where the Heritage Trail meets the Curragh Road in St John's.
A Celtic motif has been painted on the route to highlight the informal crossing.
Those using the Curragh Road retain the right of way, but are being urged to be considerate of those using the trail.
Other crossing options were considered, but the informal option was considered the most appropriate for the area.
