CPI up again
Inflation jumped to 4.4% last month, it's been revealed.
The Consumer Prices Index (CPI) leapt up by more than half a per cent from 3.8% in January.
Increases in the cost of crude oil and travel are being blamed for the rise.
Air passengers saw one of the biggest price hikes, with fares up by almost a fifth in the twelve months leading to February.
Of the items to fall in price over the same period, pork and poultry products and internet bills were category leaders.
RPI (Jevons) for February stood at 3.8%.
