Members briefed on latest GUS pension package
The Island's head of the Prospect trade union is downplaying talks of strike action over public sector pensions - but maintains it is a possibility.
Tynwald members will be asked to approve a package of cuts next month, which would subject 5,000 Government Unified Scheme (GUS) workers to reduced benefits in exchange for higher contributions.
But ahead of that, members from Prospect are being briefed on the measures - and will be asked to vote on them ahead of the sitting.
As negotiations have now ended, the union says a 'no' vote from members could trigger industrial action.
But Angela Moffatt denies it's a threat to politicians:
