Manx Care says demand for emergency treatment remains high
Almost a third of patients attending the Emergency Department at Noble's Hospital in December had to wait more than four hours for treatment.
The latest figures from Manx Care show 68% of those needing treatment at A&E were seen, treated and discharged within four hours of arriving.
41 patients faced 12-hour trolley waits, while there were 43 breaches of the 60-minute target for ambulance turnarounds.
The healthcare provider says demand for emergency treatment remains high, compounded by the footprint of ED not meeting the needs of the service.
