Manx Care says Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital is being 'freshened up' while some of its services are temporarily relocated.
Work to fix a pest control issue there is expected to take around four months.
Martin Ward has been closed since October while the problem was addressed, and is due to reopen on Monday 15 December.
Chief Executive Teresa Cope says it's also been able to have some improvements done at the same time, and it's hoped the same can be done across the rest of the hospital:
