Important to 'amplify' voices of people with learning disabilities

Teams looking ahead to Learning Disability Week in June

A drop-in session is to be held at Greenfield Park on the Noble's Hospital site today (Monday 7 April) for people with learning disabilities.

It's to give them a say in preparation ahead of Learning Disability Week, which will take place in June.

Anyone with a Learning Disability is welcome to attend, regardless of if they currently access any services.

Siobhán Fletcher caught up with Learning Disability Liaison Nurse, Kennedy Thompson, and Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist, Ealish McDonald, to find out more:

Both professionals will be available to speak to in Kennedy’s Office at Greenfield Park on the Noble's Hospital site between 10:30 and 11:30 this morning.
