Sarah Maltby called for Treasury to include Public Rights of Way in 2026 Budget
An MHK says it's important the Island invests in what it has after gaining support for footpath funding in Tynwald.
During a recent debate on the maintenance of Public Rights of Way, Douglas South member Sarah Maltby asked for Treasury to find funding to tackle the issue as part of next year's Budget.
Her amendment, which was unanimously supported, also called for the Department of Infrastructure to hold a consultation on the Island's definitive map by July next year.
